Early in our marriage, my wife and I would sit in our little one bedroom apartment drinking coffee and talking about life and our plans for the future. We had no smart phones or internet that first year of marriage, but those were some of the simplest of times. On one of these particular occasions I remember sitting down to draw a goat for a local restaurant while we sat and drank coffee. Painting this brought back some fond memories that help me not take those days for granted.
